The VMELinux Project needs programmers - May 24, 2003, 20:49 UTC - admin [Announcement]

The VMELinux Project is extending an invitation to programmers with Linux Kernel driver experience.

This project is organized like many other open-source projects on the Internet and we have copied their methods. Thus, to contribute code to the VMELinux Project you must have the following capabilities:

A way to update, modify and commit code changes to our CVS server via normal port(s) or via a SSH2 tunnel

A way to test your code on a live VME target running a Linux kernel compatible with the VMELinux version

A GCC compiler that you would find on most Linx distros - not EGCS!

An account on this bug tracking system where you are promoted to "developer" only for the VMELinux version(s) you are working on - This means you will receive an email when bugs are reported and are expected to examine the reports and act if they affect your code.

so you can hear the buzz and chatter between developers.
